Police release photos of jewelry store thief

Police have released images of a man responsible for a theft at a jewelry store in Oshawa.
On Monday, April 15, at 5:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Michael Hill jewelry store in the Oshawa Centre.
According to police, he approached the staff and inquired about a diamond ring. When provided with a ring to view, police say he placed it in his pocket and fled the store.
The suspect is described as black male, 6′-tall, approximately 20 to 25-years-old with dark hair and wearing a Canada Goose jacket, white shirt, white pants, white Nike shoes and a green bag across his chest..
Anyone with new information in regards to this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Ormonde of Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2770.
