The Evil Dead comes back to Oshawa

It’s time to do the Necronomicon as Evil Dead: The Musical is coming back to Oshawa.

The Mansfield Family (Joan, James, and Zac) are bringing back The Musical at the downtown venue, Mansfield’s Cabaret, 50 Bond St E, formerly the Pain Factory.

The production will run for three months beginning Feb. 1. Shows will take place every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Evil Dead: The Musical is a send-up and homage to the cult classic films Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness.

Five college students make their way to an abandoned cabin in the woods, where a sinister secret lurks.

Evil Dead: The Musical runs Feb. 1 to Apr. 27 downtown Oshawa and features Chris O’Bray as Ash, Wade Stokan as Scott, Michael Giel as Jake, Laura Murphy as Annie/Shelly, Amanda Bradley as Fake Shemp, Zac Mansfield as Ed, Jessica MacNeill of as Linda, and Julia Carrer as Cheryl.
