Violent assault during robbery in Oshawa

The Durham Regional Police are trying to identify two suspects after a 45-year-old man was beaten and had his wallet stolen.

On Aug. 21, at approximately 12:45 a.m., members of Central East Division were approached by the victim who said that he was robbed at Bloor Street and Simcoe Street in Oshawa. The male was walking home from work when he was approached by two suspects, who assaulted him and stole his wallet. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim was taken to local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Suspects are described as two white males.
