Man wanted after armed robbery of convenience store

Police are looking for a male suspect after a south Oshawa convenience store was robbed at gunpoint.

Just after 4 a.m. on Aug. 17, a man entered the Mac’s convenience store on Wentworth Street West wearing a mask over his face and carrying a handgun at his side. Two employees were inside at the time and the suspect demanded they turn over cash and cigarettes. The employees complied and the male fled on foot.  No one was physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as: male, black, approximately 30-years-old, wearing a black t-shirt and jogging pants with a white baseball hat, and a bandana over his face.
