The Florida Panthers Hockey Club announced they have signed 2018 second round draft selection, Serron Noel, to a three-year National Hockey League entry-level contract
Drafted in the second round at 34th overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, the 6’5, 210- pound forward attended the Panthers rookie camp following the draft and was invited to training camp last September before being returned to the Generals.
The Ottawa native is currently in his third season with the Generals and is having a career year.
Sitting third in team scoring, this season he has amassed a total of 75 points from 32 goals, and 43 assists in 62 games, establishing himself as a power forward and one of the fastest players in the Ontario Hockey League in the process.
Noel has appeared on the international stage three times in his junior career, representing Canada at the U17 Hockey Challenge, the Hlinka Gretzky Cup and the U18 World Hockey Championship.
