Durham police are seeking to identify this man, who they say has stolen hundreds of dollars in gasoline.

Durham police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man they say has stolen more than $800 in gas over the past year from gas stations in the region, as well as in Toronto.

Between April 2014 and April 2015, there have been seven reports of gas being stolen by the same suspect and vehicle. Police say the licence plates on the van are stolen.

There have been reports of gas thefts in Oshawa, Ajax and Toronto.

The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 25 years old, approximately five feet and 10 inches tall and with a medium build.

In all cases, the vehicle used for the thefts was a silver Ford Windstar van.
