Durham police are looking to identify this man who they say used an Oshawa man’s name to open a bank account.

Durham police have released the image of a man they say opened a bank account in another person’s name.

On April 17, an Oshawa man received returned cheques in the mail from a bank account he never owned. Police say more than $4,000 had been deposited in the account and cash taken from various ATMS in the GTA.

The suspect is described as black, between 25 and 35 years old, approximately five feet and nine inches tall and a medium build. He was last seen wearing sunglasses.
