Oshawa restaurant robbed
An Oshawa man was arrested after he robbed a Subway restaurant in Oshawa.
Durham police say a lone masked male entered a Subway on Bloor Street East on Tuesday, Aug. 24 around 9:50 a.m. The male went behind the counter and approached the employee while brandishing a knife.
Police say the male fled the scene on foot with some cash.
Officers responded, began an investigation and were able to locate and arrest the suspect.
The 43-year-old Oshawa man has been charged with robbery, disguise with intent, possession of weapons dangerous, and mischief under.
