New but familiar face for UOIT women’s hockey
Justin Caruana has taken over the helm of the UOIT Ridgebacks women’s hockey team.
The UOIT women’s hockey team will have a former OHL champion behind its bench next season.
Justin Caruana, who was a member of the 2005-06 league champion Peterborough Petes, is taking over the helm of the Ridgebacks.
Caruna is not a new face for the team, having been promoted from last year’s role as associate head coach of the men’s hockey team.
This past season, the Ridgebacks women’s hockey team did not qualify for the playoffs and finished with a 7-15-2 regular season record.
