Investigators looking for witnesses after five-vehicle crash in Oshawa

Police are appealing to the public for help after a BMW lost control and collided with a number of other vehicles.

On Jan. 6, at approximately 7:55 p.m., officers responded to a multi-vehicle collision at King Street and Keewatin Street in Oshawa. According to a witness, a dark BMW and a black Honda Civic were both westbound on King Street. The driver of the BMW attempted to pass the Civic, which resulted in the BMW losing control, crossing into oncoming traffic and striking four other vehicles.

Two drivers were taken to local hospital with minor injuries and two others were treated at the scene.

Police continue to investigate this collision and would like to speak to the driver of the black Honda Civic who may have information that would assist investigators.
