Get a rare glimpse of Parkwood Estate

Parkwood Estate will be opening the doors to its basement from Aug. 3 to Aug. 11 to celebrate McLaughlin Week.

Celebrate McLaughlin Week at Parkwood Estate with a tour of the basement of the mansion.

This rare opportunity, offered once a year, gives visitors a glimpse into the service areas of the estate including the family vault; the central clockworks system; the elevator engine room, and more.

According to Parkwood officials, the tour of the basement interprets what it was like to run the mansion. Tours are available Saturday, Aug. 3 through Sunday, Aug. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at $15 per person. This year, tickets can be pre-booked online through the Parkwood event page at
