Arrest after boys touched

An Oshawa man is facing charges in connection with two boys being touched inappropriately.

Police say on March 28 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a man was invited to a residence in north Oshawa to watch a televised sports event. While the other adults were watching the game in the basement, the suspect is alleged to have entered a bedroom where five children were playing. While in the room, police say he sexually assaulted two young males.

The two boys told their parents the next day what had happened.

A 50-year-old male of Celina Street is facing two charges each of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
