Search on for suspects after violent robbery at Jewelry store

Investigators are looking for four male suspects who stormed into a jewellery store and assaulted a female employee before fleeing with stolen goods.

According to police, four males entered Q’s Royal Jewellery on Bond Street in Oshawa at about 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. One of the suspects was armed with a gun and struck a female employee. A quantity of jewellery was taken before all four suspects fled in a stolen black Honda Civic. The female victim was taken to hospital, treated and released.

The suspects crashed the car nearby and stole another vehicle. They fled in a grey Honda Civic on to Highway 401 and headed westbound.

The suspect with the gun is described as a black male standing approximately six feet tall and in his 20s. He was wearing dark clothing and had his face covered.

The second and third suspects are described as black males that were dressed in black, while the fourth is described as a white male dressed in dark clothing.
