Province launches survey for strategy on economic empowerment for women

The province of Ontario is looking to residents to provide their thoughts and ideas for a new strategy to support the economic empowerment of women.

In order to help all women and girls achieve their full social and economic potential, Ontario has released an “engagement paper” and an online survey to gather information from across the province.

According to numbers from the province, women earn approximately 26 per cent less than men annually, but more women hold university and college degrees.

The survey and paper can be found online at https://www.ontario.ca/form/survey-womens-economic-empowerment.

Residents have until Aug. 15, 2017 to provide their feedback.
