The goods have been delivered, and are now ready for pick up.
Suits for Youth is returning for its second year on April 17 and 18.
Ward 4 regional councillor Rick Kerr says the community has once again been very generous with donations.
“It’s bigger and better than ever,” Kerr states. “We’ll be happy to take anybody. We have a really good stock of clothes.”
Among the available items include suits, ties, pants, shirts, and other accessories appropriate for graduations, proms and job interviews.
Kerr said a big addition this year was merging in another initiative, Ties for Guys, which allows them to provide clothing for students from Grades 8 to Grade 12 from any gender.
Clothes can be picked up at the Oshawa Centre on April 17 and 18 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
There will be a style and color consultant on hand from Moore’s Clothing to help patrons find the right combination for them.
