Overdose deaths must be addressed
Dear Editor,
Opioid overdose deaths in Ontario topped 600 (629) in 2018, where in 2017 it hadn’t topped 500.
A 25 per cent increase is far too much per year, and safe injection site locales shouldn’t have to worry about whether Mr. Ford’s government will sanction or endorse funds for this purpose, because it’s just simply the right thing to do in these troubled times of today.
