Oshawa man facing several charges in Kawarthas

An Oshawa man is facing a number of charges for alcohol-related offences.

At approximately 6:50 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police pulled over and arrested the driver of a vehicle on Pigeon Lake Road in Kawartha Lakes.

A 48-year-old Oshawa man has been charged with failure or refusal to provide a breath sample and failure to comply with a recognizance under the Criminal Code of Canada, as well as several charges under the Highway Traffic Act, including a novice driver refusing to provide a breath sample, driving unaccompanied while holding a Class G1 licence and failure to surrender a licence.
