Marijuana dispensary shut down again by police

A medical marijuana dispensary shut down earlier this month following police raids reopened days later. However, police have raided it again.

At approximately 6:55 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, police executed a search warrant at the 420 Compassion Club on Simcoe Street South. Police seized 273 grams of marijuana and $2,085 in cash.

A 27-year-old Clarington male and a 30-year-old Pickering male have both been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
