Nighttime drivers may have to look at a different route this month, thanks to some late night paving work being done on Ritson Road.
Work is set to start this week on Ritson from north of Richmond Street to south of Adelaide Avenue, and will see night paving work between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., excluding weekends.
The work is due to be completed by the week of Sept. 12, although the region’s works department advises that unfavourable weather could change that timeline.
“The region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible,” a news release reads.
“Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.”
