Police have arrested a 35-year-old Oshawa man in connection with two robberies at the same convenience store this past May.
On May 19, the Circle K convenience store on Wentworth Street in Oshawa was robbed by a masked man brandishing a handgun. On May 28, the same store was robbed once again by a suspect armed with a knife.
The accused was arrested on Monday, Sept. 2, without incident. He has been charged with both robberies.
The 35-year-old man of Gibb Street in Oshawa is charged with robbery with restricted or prohibited firearm, two counts of disguise with intent, two counts of possess weapon for committing an offense, and robbery. He was held for a bail hearing.
