Do you own a home-based business or farm? The region would like to hear from you.
As part of its annual business count, Durham Region is asking for home-based businesses and farm owners to take part in the study.
“It’s important to us that we ensure home-based businesses and farms are represented in the Business Count project,” states Stephanie Jones, the region’s manager of data mapping and graphics, in a news release.
“The information collected through this initiative allows us to assist local businesses in reaching their goals, while also helping to build a stronger local economy.”
Those wanting to participate can do so by visiting durham.ca/businesscount between now and Aug. 26.
The information collected during the study will be used to update the region’s business directory, available at investdurham.ca.
