Gas station robbed

Police are trying to identify a suspect following an armed robbery at a gas station.

Officers responded to the Husky Gas Bar on Wilson Road South at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Monday, March 14 for a robbery call. According to police, a lone male armed with a knife entered the store, grabbing cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene. Responding officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The store’s employee was not physically harmed during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 30, and is approximately five feet and 11 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and a dark mask covering his face.
