Fire Services offering free car seat safety clinic
The third Oshawa Fire Services’ car seat clinic of 2018 is taking place this weekend at Fire Station 6. It is estimated that over 75 per cent of child deaths and injuries due to motor vehicle collisions could be prevented with the proper installation and use of car seats.
Oshawa Fire Services is inviting parents and guardians who use car seats to attend this upcoming, free car seat safety clinic to ensure your precious cargo is safely secured.
Remaining 2018 clinics will run: Saturday, July 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fire Station 6 (2339 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa), and Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fire Station 3 (50 Beatrice St. E., Oshawa)
Those interested in attending should have the car seats installed in the vehicle at time of arrival, bring the manuals for the car seat and the vehicle, and bring the children who ride in the seat to the clinic so they can be properly fitted.
