Deadline extension for medal nominations

Know someone who deserves to be recognizes for their contributions to the community? You have more time to get your nominations in.

The office of Oshawa MP Colin Carrie has announced that nomination forms for its Oshawa’s Canada 150 medal will be extended until July 31.

“Oshawa has always been a generous community with no shortage of eager and capable volunteers so it’s no surprise that our Canada 150 Medal program has been extremely well received by the community” states Carrie in a news release.

“We want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to submit their nominations for consideration so we’re extending the deadline.”

Application forms can be picked up at Carrie’s constituency office at 57 Simcoe St. S., or downloaded online at colincarriemp.ca. Completed forms can be submitted electronically or in person at the constituency office.
