Central Oshawa plagued by vehicle vandalism

Police are investigating a number of incidents of vehicle vandalism that occurred central Oshawa over the past two weeks.

According to police, between Sept. 12 and Sept. 26 more than 25 incidents of vehicles being vandalized were reported in the area bordering Adelaide Avenue West to the north, Highway 401 to the south, Harmony Road to the east and Stevenson Road South to the west. Some vehicles were spray painted while others had tires slashed.

Police are encouraging victims to come forward, either at a local station or through the Durham Region Police Services website.
