Residents are invited by Durham Region to celebrate Bike Month with a series of cycling activities throughout the region.
Until Sept. 30, residents are being encouraged to explore Durham’s unique landscapes and scenic trails while practising safe cycling.
Those interested in participating should visit durham.ca/BikeMonth to register for a series of local activities, including educational webinars, a cycling photo scavenger hunt, a cycling panel discussion and Ride4United Way.
Bike Month is an opportunity for residents to learn new skills and celebrate cycling safely while adhering to public health guidelines and keeping our communities safe, according to a Durham press release. As one of the largest celebrations of biking in Canada, Bike Month has hundreds of events with participants from across the entire Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
