The UK’s top tribute to the legendary Engelbert Humperdinck is performing live for the first time in Canada, and it’s happening at none other than Oshawa’s historic Regent Theatre.

Show organizers state Scott Dee bears an uncanny resemblance to Humperdinck, as he is the same height, and possesses the same green eyes, smouldering good looks, and powerful three-and-a-half octave vocal range ensuring the essence of “The King of Romance” is captured in this charismatic tribute.

Engelbert Humperdinck has lived the show-business dream and became a global legend in the process.  With millions of dedicated fans around the world, he has sold more than 150 million albums, and is in the Guinness Book Of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks on the charts with “Release Me” which was #1 in 11 countries.

After more than four decades, Humperdinck is still at the very top, selling out shows all over the world, including a recent performance at Casino Rama.
Dee will perform many of the hits made famous by Humperdinck, including “The Last Waltz”, “After the Lovin”, “Quando Quando Quando” and “Release Me”.

Scott recently performed in Las Vegas where he appeared in front of Humperdinck and his family and received great acclaim.

The show takes place on Friday, Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 each and available online at regenttheatre.ca or at the box office at 50 King Street East.

The show is recommended for ages 14 and over, with an age restriction of over seven years of age.
