Durham police are seeking two male suspects after they entered a Shoppers Drug Mart in broad daylight, threatened employees and made way with a large quantity of perfume.
On Monday, Oct. 12, around 1:40 p.m., officers were called to the Shopper Drug Mart on Taunton Road East in Oshawa regarding a theft in progress.
Employees witnessed two males taking perfume products off the shelf and placing them in black bags. When an employee confronted the males, they threatened the staff.
Police say one employee was punched in the chest when trying to stop the suspects.
The two males fled the store with the bags and drove away in a small blue sedan.
The first suspect is described as a white male between 24 and 30 years old, 5 ft., 6 inches tall with a small build, skinny face, dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt.
The second suspect is described as a white male between 24 and 30 years old, over 200 lbs. with a heavy build and short brown hair. He was wearing a hoodie.
