Suspects wanted for convenience store robbery

Investigators are trying to identify two suspects who robbed a variety store in Oshawa.

On Feb. 23, at approximately 12:05 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery at the Marland Super Variety store on Marland Avenue. The two male suspects entered the store and one was armed with a knife. The men made a demand for cash and left the store after taking cash and stealing numerous items.

Officers searched the area with negative results. No physical injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as male, black, slim build. He was wearing a black-hooded sweater, black track pants, white socks and a black mask.

The second suspect is male, black, slim build. He was wearing a burgundy-hooded sweater, burgundy track pants, dark shoes with white laces and a black mask.
