Stabbing victim arrested for assault
Durham police are seeking suspects after a man was stabbed following a domestic dispute.
On April 25 at around 1 a.m., a 30-year-old Oshawa man was driven to hospital by friends after being stabbed at an apartment on Wentworth Street.
Police had responded to a domestic-related call at the same apartment hours prior where officers say the stabbed man had fled.
Investigators believe the stabbing victim had assaulted a female in the apartment.
The victim claims he was attacked later by two unknown suspects, suffering non-life threatening injuries. The investigation into the stabbing continues.
The 30-year-man is charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault, uttering threats and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
He was held for a bail hearing.
