Sexual assault on GO Transit bus

Police made an arrest at the Oshawa GO station after a male allegedly touched a woman inappropriately on a bus.

At approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb 20, police responded to the Oshawa station after GO Transit constables had arrested a male passenger on board a GO bus.

According to police, a female passenger reported a male suspect sitting near her on the bus engaged her in conversation while traveling from Peterborough. The man is alleged to have touched the woman inappropriately while rubbing his groin. Police say the man also produced a syringe and injected himself while using explicit sexual language with the female.

A 36-year-old male of Queen Street in Toronto has been charged with sexual assault, committing an indecent act and failure to comply with a probation order in connection with this incident.
