Road work starting on Simcoe, Conlin and Wilson

The Region of Durham has a few road construction projects beginning in the City of Oshawa.

The first involves structure adjustments, concrete curb infills, and surface asphalt paving at Simcoe Street North

and Conlin Road.

Lane restrictions will be in effect on Simcoe Street North, 200 metres south of Conlin Road to 230 metres north of Conlin Road.

On Conlin Road, lanes will be restricted 320 metres west of Simcoe Street North to 300 metres east of Simcoe.

The work will run until Aug. 30, but unfavourable weather may change the project’s schedule.

There will also be construction of new curbs and sidewalks on Wilson Road South from Aug. 12 to Aug. 28.

Lane restrictions will be in place both northbound and southbound on Wilson from King Street East to Athol Street East.
