Region to host virtual budget town hall

Durham residents are invited to join a virtual town hall about the 2021 budget.

Community members will join Durham Region’s chief administrative officer, commissioner of finance, and treasurer, along with other senior team members, where they will have an opportunity to learn more about the region’s business plans and budgets, gain an increased understanding of the region’s programs and services, and to provide input on priorities for 2021.

The town hall will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the region’s website.

Residents who would like to listen live or ask questions via phone can pre-register for the event by emailing budgets@durham.ca with their name and phone number.
