Region hosting waste town hall

Residents will have a chance to learn more about the region’s Waste Plan at an upcoming virtual town hall.

Residents are invited to join Durham Region’s director of waste management services and other members of its waste management leadership team for an hour-long virtual town hall session on Nov. 5.

Community members will have an opportunity to learn more about the region’s 2021 to 2040 Long-term Waste Management Plan (Waste Plan) and to provide their input to help develop the framework for the plan.

The town hall will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and residents should visit durham.ca/WastePlanTownHall to access this event. Pre-registration is not required.
