Red Barn reopens
Bingo-goers were ready, dabbers in hand, as Red Barn opened its doors Friday for the first time in eight months.
Owner Frank Sobil says, like many others, they were forced to shutter their doors in November 2020 due to the pandemic.
“It’s an exciting day today,” he says.
While they are unable to open at full capacity, Sobil says it’s all smiles here today as the doors opened at 11 a.m. to a lineup of about 30 people.
Inside the bingo hall, Sobil says everything is ready. The tables and chairs are distanced, there are barriers on the tables, as well as all the other COVID-19 health and safety measures.
Red Barn is open seven days a week at a capacity of 104 people per session, on a first come, first served basis.
