Investigators have arrested one teen and are seeking a second suspect after an armed robbery in north Oshawa.
On Feb. 4., officers were called to the area of Dance Act Avenue and Bromus Path in Oshawa regarding a call of a robbery.
According to police, a male victim arranged to meet with one of the suspects to buy drugs, and when they walked off of the roadway to complete the deal, a second suspect wearing a mask and brandishing a gun assaulted the victim, stealing his property.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the scene.
Investigators were able to locate a 17-year-old suspect, who was arrested on Feb. 18.
He faces 10 criminal charges, including possession of cocaine, forcible confinement; possession of a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault, and assault with a weapon.
He was held for a bail hearing.
The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” to 6’ tall, thin build. He was wearing a mask and was armed with a gun.
