A 17-year-old teen is facing numerous firearm-related charges after Durham police allegedly found a loaded handgun on him during a fight.
On Sunday, Nov. 3 at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to report of a fight on Dean Avenue in Oshawa. Police located the two teens involved in the fight, and police say one of the males was in possession of a loaded firearm and cocaine. He was arrested and the handgun was seized.
The 17-year-old resident of Oshawa is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and also faces numerous gun-related charges. He was held for a bail hearing.
