Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame to reopen

The Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame has announced it will be reopening for the public.

Board members, in consultation with Tribute Communities Centre staff, have made changes following government guidelines which have been approved by the City of Oshawa.

The hall of fame’s doors will soon be reopening to the public by appointment only on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and during sports events at the Tribute Communities Centre.

The first Wednesday opening will be on Dec. 2.

Visitors will be screened and required to wear masks, plus sanitation stations have been installed, and one-way traffic patterns must be observed.

Visitors are being encouraged to avoid touching displays in order to keep everyone safe.
