No reasons to ever be a bully
Dear Editor,
Every time I hear that someone somewhere has been or is being bullied, something strange happens to my body. I know I should not react because my relatable experience was 45 years ago, and I still stiffen when I hear on the news that someone has been bullied.
To all of the bullies out there, it may seem funny at the time, and I realize that you never think of how the person being bullied feels, but if you have any semblance of humanity you will not do it at all. I almost wrote to think about what you are doing first, but then I remembered what I thought and felt like every time I was bullied.
Most children bully their peers first and then think about what they have done, if they even think at all afterwards.
I used to pretend to be sick so I wouldn’t have to face my tormentors that particular day. So you see, everyone being bullied has the experience that lasts for years or even a lifetime. All I pray for is that being bullied will not affect you the way it has affected me.
