An Oshawa man was taken to a local hospital with a minor stab wound over the weekend.
On Sunday, Jan. 5, at approximately 5:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of Simcoe and John Street for a stabbing, where they found the victim with a minor stab wound to his abdomen.
The suspect fled on foot, and police searched the area without success.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect and the victim are known to each other.
The investigation is ongoing and the suspect is still at large.
