Sean Allen was drafted by the Kitchener Rangers in the 3rd round, 41st overall in the 2014 OHL draft. The Oshawa Generals acquired him from the Rangers on December 11, 2015 in exchange for a 3rd and 10th round draft pick.

Allen has three points in the 2015-2016, all with Kitchener. He has currently played 27 games with the Generals.
