At 20 years old, Huether is one of the elder statesmen on the Generals roster, entering his fourth season in 2017-18.

Huether is off to a hot start, with nine goals in 18 games, more than half of his production in the 2016-2017 season.

His shooting percentage has improved from around eight per cent to an impressive 13 per cent this year. He is also 10th in the OHL with 69 shots.
