For crying out loud

City crier Bill McKee, seen earlier this year at the Father’s Day parade, came in second at an international town crier competition in Pennsylvania.
City crier Bill McKee is good at his job, and the judges of an international cry-off competition in Pennsylvania certainly agree.
Earlier this month, McKee was in Easton for the town’s Heritage Day celebrations, which included a competition for town criers from the U.S., Canada and Germany.
McKee was part of an all-Ontario trio that swept the podium, including winner Mark Molnar of Lincoln and Bruce Kruger of Bracebridge.
