Durham school board hosting meetings on budget

The Durham District School Board is holding its 2019-2020 budget deliberation meetings in three upcoming sessions, which are open to the public.

All meetings will be at the DDSB’s Education Centre, 400 Taunton Road East, Whitby, in Room 2007.

The first meeting will be held on Wed, May 29, 2019 at 7:00 regarding public deputations. The second meeting will be Wed., June 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. with a presentation of 2019-2020 draft budget.

The final meeting will be Wed., June 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., and DDSB’s 2019-2020 draft budget will be tabled for consideration with a potential recommendation to approve.

Requests to present at the May 29 meeting must be received no later than Friday, May 24 at noon.
