Lane restrictions on Simcoe and Harmony

Lane restrictions are in effect on Simcoe Street North due to the construction of watermains and sanitary sewer mains.

The area affected is 200 metres south of Beatrice Street, on Simcoe Street North, with lane restrictions in effect until Dec. 11, according to the region.

Lane restrictions are also in effect on Harmony Road North (Regional Road 23), near Missom Gate, for the construction of water and sewer to support new development.

Construction is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 11.

The region notes unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedules, adding it realizes the construction work will be disruptive and will “make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

 

Water, sewer work on Taunton

Lane restrictions are in effect on Taunton Road East for the construction of water and sewer to support new development.

According to the region, the work is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 11, however, unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

 

Missom Gate closed for roadwork

Missom Gate will be closed to through traffic until mid-December for roadwork.

The road will be closed between Harmony Road North and Schooling Drive/Mccue Drive for the installation of new sanitary and storm sewers and road restoration for 800 and 805 Missom Gate.

The work is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 18, however unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

There will be no access to emergency vehicles during the closure.
