Chair girl deserves a spot in prison

Dear Editor,

There are lots of things to brew and stew about, but this news item caught my eye last week. I just wanted to do a little math regarding the “chair girl” Marcella Zoia, who magically went dark on social media just before her sentencing hearing on March 12, 2020. Hmmm, how ironic, huh?

Well, apparently “Marcie Z” has 45,000 Instagram followers which, as I calculated it, is 1,000 followers for each floor that the thrown balcony chair sailed down at the Toronto highrise last year (as tossed by her).

Marcella doesn’t deserve a chair in jail, though she does deserve a correctional cot and nice orange jumpsuit, nothing less.
