Blue box changes for Family Day

Residents will be putting their recycling out on a different day next week thanks to Family Day.

The region’s works department has announced blue box collection will be shifted one day forward to account for the holiday on Monday, Feb. 15. Therefore, if your collection day is Monday, your recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Feb. 16, and so on. The shift will continue throughout the week, ending with Friday’s collection moved to Saturday, Feb. 20.
