Arrest made in Oshawa hotel robbery
Two people have been charged after robbing a man at an Oshawa hotel.
The robbery occurred early in the morning on Nov. 11 in a hotel on Bloor Street West in Oshawa.
Police say that a man arranged to meet an escort at the hotel, but when he entered the room and handed over cash to the woman, a man came out of the bathroom with his face covered and threatened to shoot him.
The man fled and called police.
Now, a 29-year-old man from Brampton and a 24-year-old female from Toronto are both charged with robbery. The pair were released on a promise to appear.
A 26-year-old man from Pickering was also arrested in connection to this incident when police noticed him in possession of a loaded Ruger handgun.
