Youth can try baseball for free

Baseball Oshawa is once again offering a chance for local youth to get introduced to the game for free.

The organization is hosting three free clinics over the next month.

The sessions at Durham College’s Field House at 50 Conlin Road are open to boys and girls ages four to nine. These sessions are aimed at beginners or players looking to improve their skills.

The clinics are scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25, Sunday, March 4 and Sunday, March 25. All sessions run between 4 to 6 p.m.

There is no registration required but participants will need to sign a waiver.

Participants are encouraged to bring a glove and indoor shoes.
