On Nov. 1, at approximately 3 a.m., members of Central East Division were flagged down by a citizen and advised for a serious collision on Albert Street and Fisher Street in Oshawa.

Officers located a blue GMC SUV on its roof on Albert Street with no occupants inside. Police eventually located a female with serious injuries at a nearby residence. The woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers believe that the vehicle was traveling northbound on Albert Street when it hit the wooden rail bridge causing it to flip and land on a lower portion of Albert Street on its roof. Police are still trying to determine who was operating the vehicle at the time of the collision.
